Family Fun Night and Silent Auction
Thank You!
A big thank you to all the families who attended Armstrong’s annual Family Fun Night and helped to make the night a fun and successful event! We are pleased to report that we raised over $26,000 total, and that after expenses this event will provide over $20,000 to support our school. Many of the programs, events and equipment that the Armstrong PTA provides throughout each school year strongly depends on the money we raise on Family Fun Night. Your generous contributions go towards so many things, including staff development, teacher reimbursements, staff appreciation week, field trips, art appreciation, cultural event assemblies, technology upgrades, classroom set up, the Reflections program, our school directory, and events like the Ice Cream Social, ice skating night, Donuts for Dad, Family Fun Night, and the sixth grade promotion ceremony. Your contributions also cover wish list items of the school’s staff similar to gifts given in recent years like the Resource Reading Room set up, upgrades to the morning news show, the lobby screens, and much more. So again, a huge thanks to all who attended and who continue to support our wonderful school.

2011-2012 Book Fair
All Armstrong students and their families are welcome to attend our annual Book Fair in the school library the week of April 16 through 20. The fair will be open before, during and after school, as well as late Wednesday evening. Every purchase benefits the library directly, so please come support our school and buy some wonderful books in the process!
