The PTA Health and Wellness committee is a group of Armstrong parent volunteers whose goal is to educate Armstrong kids about the importance of exercise/active play, eating a balanced diet of real foods, sleep and preventive health habits.

Grace Art
Armstrong participates in the GRACE Art (the Greater Reston Arts Center) program to supplement and support our children's art experience in school. The program is unique because it is driven by volunteers and docents who bring portfolio information about a selected artist, and an associated art project, to the classroom.
The GRACE Art schedule for the 2012-13 school year is as follows: October: Van Gogh; December: Mary Cassatt; February: Andy Warhol; March: Leonardo DaVinci; and in April the topic of Seascapes.
We welcome volunteers at any time! If you would like to volunteer to participate in GRACE Art please contact armstronggraceart@gmail.com. You are welcome to volunteer as your schedule permits, it only requires about an hour of classroom time per project.
